Leaders of the MU AAUP Chapter and the faculty at large hope that in his March 15 address President Choi will offer concrete plans to address the crisis in shared governance at MU. Last month, 912 MU faculty members endorsed a resolution that identifies serious problems with shared governance at MU and offers concrete solutions, but President Choi has neither addressed the substance of this resolution nor offered his own solutions. His March 15 address presents an opportunity to change course.
