Upcoming in our AAUP Chapter

  • Sept 3, 4:00 pm: We invite AAUP members and supporters to join LiUNA 955’s rally outside Memorial Union. Wear your AAUP t-shirt or button if you have one! See attached flyer.
  • Please fill out this survey by Friday, September 18 to let us know what issues are important to you that we should focus on in our chapter this year. (Note: only the MU AAUP Executive Committee will have access to your responses.)

ICYMI

  • Did you know that any MU employee, including faculty members, can join LiUNA (Laborers National Union of North America) as At Large members even if they are not currently part of a bargaining unit? Become informed and stay informed of town halls, information sessions, and rallies that bring together workers from across campus. Contact Luke Fennewald at 573.473.8667 if you are interested.
  • Last winter, faculty working for the MU libraries formed a bargaining unit with LiUNA. See attached Press Release for more info. It is possible for other groups of faculty to form bargaining units as well. Contact Luke Fennewald at 573.529.8667 for more details.
